Ecofieldtrips Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based company which was set up by Bridget Hedderman and Helen Newman in 1997 to coincide with the International Year of the Reef [IYOR].
Many schools from different countries have been on our Ecofieldtrips which cover the biology and geography of rainforests, mangroves, seashores and coral reefs. The fieldtrips can also include a scuba diving course and marine biology for divers.
A team of specialists, biologists and geographers; consisting of qualified divers and first aid trained, accompany the students on the fieldtrips.
The aim of our fieldtrips is to inculcate positive attitudes and long-term commitment to the protection and conservation of the environment, along with the enjoyment of learning out of the classroom and upclose to nature.
